What I learned this weekend

Hodge Podge,
Weekends
1) You can't juice a banana.
2) 16 Tablespoons= 1 Cup. Glad I googled that before measuring out 16 individual Tablespoons of butter.
3) It only takes me 2 days to eat an entire "pot of gold" box of chocolates. Over the weekend we accumulated 5 boxes. Well, 4 boxes now...
4) Sometimes the mail comes on Sunday...Weird right? That's what I thought when the doorbell rang at 1pm Sunday afternoon and it was Canada Post with a package for me! Too bad we can't open it until Christmas!
5) If you don't empty the laundry baskets, they won't empty themselves. Dang.

The laundry basket lesson is one I continue to learn weekly. I'm still holding out hope though. :)

I tried #5 last weekend....it didn't work either.
I ate a box of chocolates that a client sent over... I ended up throwing it out when there were only a few left. Too much temptation!

My cat will empty the laundry basket for me- really need to train him to fold the laundry though.
I lol'd at the butter one! Sometimes it's tough learning grown up stuff the hard way!
Oh how I wish my laundry would climb out of the dryer and put itself away!!
even with 3 kids and 2 adults our laundry baskets don't get emptied either....strange....One time the baskets sat in the hall for DAYS and nobody took any clothes out so i hid them all. Obviously they have too many clothes because nobody asked about the missing articles for a looong time.
